Pulling your hair out and green with envy? You have big juicy dreams and goals but when do you get a break? When was the last vacation you planned? Shhh Don’t share it on social media of you don’t want others to get FOMO (fear of missing out). Not only would it make them feel like they could not take time off from work or maybe not even afford a trip away which is probably what they need. Often we put so much pressure on ourselves to perform. There is no shame in that.
Whether you want a hard earned break because of stress and its not possible to get away studies have shown a simple way to step away from the office is to spend time in a park, lay out flat and close your eyes and relax away from work.
You don’t need to follow everybody else and what they are doing. Majority of people trying to build a business or work longer hours are only wishing to find a quicker way to get a break. Guess what! It happens when you just serve your life like it is a lesson and from the heart.
Where would your time and talents shine right now to get that break? Maybe the break is not a long vacation but that break would allow you to further where you are right now. For example. If you where to stop and change your home environment and make it a place of comfort and love and a place to enjoy like you are on holidays. Sounds hard to do yet really a few small ways you can prepare your home for harmony, peace and more joy.
So, here I will share how to love where you live right now.
After a tough day all you dream about is coming home and watching your favourite TV show or going to bed. Most of don’t consider to relax we need to adopt a home space that feels spacious and calm. So here is your first working activity to create more space in your life.
Create a corner that is dedicated to relaxation. Scatter cushions, create a sense of order and calm with a seat, elegant throw rug and some favourite treasures around you, even a vintage feel, choose beauty and meaning to find your happy space and add a touch of flowers that always works a charm with me. Now step back and imagine the perspective differently. If you went home to this space before tv or cook dinner and just spent some quiet time. Being 5-10minutes or even tried to meditate on your new cushion. It would be a great chill zone.
If its day spas you love but can’t afford the price tag well then set up your own haven at home in your bathroom. Build a place of relaxation and calmness with sea salt scrubs, creams to moisten your skin. A little ritual like Cleopatra could be just what you need!!
