Are you addicted to being busy? Maybe you haven’t realised that being busy is the norm. Being addicted to busy will not help you get to where you want to get. There is no joy in commitment to get something down with loads of stress and worry when all you have is a common theme of busyness.
The concept of ‘being busy’ is not new. Busy is often a word over used in conversations to explain. Time is really a gift and we all have the same amount of time in a day. Its how we use our time that makes us busy. The choice of how we us your time is one that we must weigh up. On a daily basis we are presented with choices. How we make those choices can be good and some not so good.
I recently made a discovery that many people question their life. Not just life but over, happiness. Call it a mid-life crisis or just not sure about where life is headed. When I hear the words; i’m to busy to sit and do this or that as i don’t have time. Saying I’m too busy mean in our minds that we will never lead to following ones dreams. But the point is, if you’re consumed by questioning the direction of your career, relationships, and overall life purpose—don’t worry. It’s actually more normal than not.
The idea to put down your pen and devices and unplug just get back to the basics and undo the to do list. The undo to-do list is about less hustle and grind and more slow and easy. Heres how to create a life of dreams and balance.
So how to undo your to do list. #undolist
Everyone needs a undo list … so heres how to undo list.
- celebrate what not to do
- relax never fear have fun, smile, laugh, cry, leap, dance, shout, go and enjoy lifes beautiful nature
- go and get that sleep…
- Watch whatever the hell i want on tv and hog the remote
- Eat food without posting what i last ate on social media for the whole world to see
- Wake up and watch the sunrise
- Sit and not reach for my phone or device and quietly make lemon water or tea then shall sit by a window and look out
- Not make rushed decisions so go and have a long shower or bath
- never make lists that make me busy
Perhaps your biggest fear is comparison—what other people are doing… more or better than you, saying yes to things when really its not in your heart. If you feel you have a common thread of rating your progress against the lives, careers, and relationships of those around you it may be time to stop trying to make everything so perfect.
Don’t let busy define you!Consider slowing down. You may even find out who you are!
