A small tweak can make a big difference
I’ve been feeling a little burnt out lately and you might of seen i’ve been a little quieter lately around my blog. March is usually a time when weather changes in Australia. It’s been colder and raining lots. Not that I’m complaining i love looking out my window and seeing the rain drops slide down the window i feel its so therapeutic to watch rain, like meditation. I’ve been working on a few little projects, ,my book and spending more time living the slow life. You know i’ve been a huge fan of the pretty carefree life and its so nice to actually rest without worry.
Often we get exhausted with all we have on and think it will never end and constantly forcing, pushing and making things happen? If you don’t start listening to your body, sooner or later you’ll be forced to rest. Something will strike you down. I actually have the flu at the moment and it is so unlike me. Call it a change in weather seasons in Australia or burning out.
I do not have the time to sit and feel guilty for taking time out for self-love, self-care and nourishing my body to get better and be at its happiest and healthiest. Self love is often neglected and its the first thing on my list when everything is onto of me. Its the nourishment that i need to re-balance. I feel my best when my health is at its best. So how to reconnect with your true self, when you are stuck and in a place you want out.

1. Treat yourself the way you would a good friend. Check in with yourself and ask yourself questions.

How would things be different if you started doing the same for yourself.
2. Try this exercise when you feel life is on top of you
We shouldn’t spend more than 20-30 minutes in one position, so break up long stretches of sitting with exercises.
Stretch everywhere, on anything (walls, tables), throughout the day.
As well as standing up and walking around for a minute or two, try neck stretches, shoulder-blade pinches and trunk rotations. Do two reps of each, holding for 20 seconds.
3. Save a little money on your beauty regimen with meditation its a beauty secret
Sure you can have a little fun with your beauty routine. Meditation can be a real game changer and not only that has so many benefits that make it a cheaper alternative to cosmetic jars. I know you think i don’t have enough time to meditate. Meditation actually works best when you don’t try to force it in your body life schedule. Get up earlier set an alarm and start with 5 minutes and see how you can start to deal with your stress levels, overall mood and that god dame bitchy voice in your head that says you are not good enough so when other people start to tell you how happy you look- just smile back its our beauty secret. As more people are catching on to meditation it sounds, like its working. Don’t take life for granted, it’s something we have to work on every day but it truly will make a difference.
